Nonconformism or why I'm not switching to wordpress...yet

Yes... one of these things seems not like the other, but I'm fighting the battle against conformism and I will not yield! I have many reasons for not leaving the comforting confines of Blogspot.com, some rational, some irrational... okay, most are irrational but that really shouldn't matter.

Firstly the only rational reason I have for not leaving Blogger... I don't like the way the fonts show up on my screens at Wordpress. I actually have the same problem when I go to RFI.com to get my daily dose of Francais Facile. On my computers at work I can't actually read the fonts because they appear to be in something like 6pt font and I have no magnifying glass available to me. The text of the blog is fine, but the names of other blogs and other information that would appear to be somewhat necessary in order for a smooth navigation of the site are tiny.

And now the irrational reasons for not switching...

First, I feel pressured to join the Kool Kids (like Kool and the Gang, only actually cool), over at wordpress, but having always been an outsider, a dark horse, a superhero disguised as a petty clerk, I have decided that my self worth hinges on my ability to

1. do what I want to do and not what I see others doing
2. blog as little as I want dispite the masses crying for increased output
3. balance nickels on their sides and roll them from one side of my desk to the other without having them fall

Second, I hear tell that the communist party runs Wordpress, it's perhaps just a vicious rumor, but I'm buying into it.

Third, I don't really have a third reason but I felt that my argument would be weak if I didn't have three irrational reasons supporting it. SO my third reason is that I needed the third reason to cement my argument.

Alright... I'm now finished and will go back to my blogless existance for a while. Ta ta.
