Recent movie ideas...
Okay... so Amanda already has caught wind of this... but I've been in the process of doodling over the last few weeks and I have the basic characters for a new super awesome movie...
Night of the Living Hairpiece Man - the hero of our story. A disembodied Beatle-esque wig wearing platform shoes. Probably some sort of stick on eyes. Fights crime using (what else) Aquanet.
Mustachio - defined by websters as "a type of mustache, esp. one that is elegant". This is the vilain of the storym a large disembodied poofy mustache. He would wreak havoc on society at large... just how I'm not exactly sure yet... but it would be sheer mayhem!
Goatastrophe - A vengeful goat who also wreaks havoc on society, possibly through fleas or use of his "Beard of Terror"
MonoBrowsah - A large disembodied Monobrow. Sidekick to Night of the Living Hairpiece Man. Has a catchphrase "Yowsah! It's MonoBrowsah!" (lame I know... but you'd kind of expect that from a living Monobrow)
Pygtalion - The secretary... a large disembodied set of pigtails. Unofficial chief of the hero organization.
I guess the series would be called "The Adventures of Night of the Living Hairpiece Man" or possibly "Disembodied Heros and Vilains minus the Goat"
(Pauses)
Okay... so now I'm kinda upset... it really is just as dumb as Amanda said it was. You know... I really should listen to her more often...

A gramatico-historical analysis of this post reveals a theme of disembodyment and havoc. There is a secondry theme of self cirtique. What is the signifigance of this interpretation? Since the author of the post is extant, we can ask him.
Ah... indeed! You will also see that the ever present Marxist theme of class defines the heros as those with hair above the eyes (hairpiece, monobrow, pigtails), and the vilains as those with hair below the eyes (beard and moustache). This could be interpreted as viewing those who use their brains and eyes (possibly the elite and university educated) as the best or most desireable members of society and those who are defined more by speech (possibly workers and those who revolt and make noise/rabble rousers) as the less desireable.
Wow... I must really be predjudiced.
(oh and to answer your question Mark, I feel disembodied most of the time... esp. when I forget my Paxil ;) )
